ABOUT

MORTA MOR

Genre-less, borderless, and never just one thing—Morta Mor thrives in the spaces where disciplines collide, cross-pollinate, and throw a party together. Whether it’s crafting sonic journeys, curating telling visual narratives, or weaving meaningful immersive experiences, her world is one of intersectionality, multi-layered storytelling, and a good dose of playful chaos.

A lover of visual art, creative direction, and fashion, Morta brings a holistic, hands-on approach to every project—because why settle for one medium when you can blend them all? Her work spans across sound, style, and spectacle, from published photoshoots and editorial features to conceptual fashion projects and immersive event curation.

Beyond the dancefloor and creative realms, she’s just as passionate about purpose, sustainability, and meaningful impact—because while music and art fuel her spirit, making the world a better (and groovier) place is just as much part of the gig.

This page is a window into some of the projects she’s worked on—past, present, and the beautifully undefined. Explore, click, get lost.

Among Morta’s many creative ventures, UKENA is a project she has embraced both creatively and organizationally, working alongside Ole Ukena to shape its vision. More than just fashion, UKENA is an artwear movement—bridging self-expression, culture, and sustainability, transforming clothing into a canvas where art and identity merge.

With an exciting new collection launching soon, now is the time to join the movement.

OTHER PROJECTS (CERTAINLY NOT ALL)

COUNTERACTION - A KALTBLUT Exclusive Editorial

I’m not loved, as long as your love doesn’t count.
I’m not important, as long as you’re not understood.
I’m not safe, as long as you’re oppressed.
I’m not beautiful until every colour is beautiful.
I’m not myself until your differences are celebrated.
I don’t matter until you do.

More important now than ever, this editorial celebrates queerness, diversity, authenticity and acceptance through-provoking shapes, love for vintage fashion, and general weirdness.

Bright Future Youth - A KALTBLUT Exclusive Editorial

In times of the internet perpetually vomiting bits and pieces of scattered information, the act of picking up a book has immense value, much larger than simply becoming informed. By requiring presence, commitment and patience, it allows the reader to step into another person’s shoes – a space that births understanding and kills judgment.

While the world trembles, there is (still) hope. Old libraries collecting dust will become lost artefacts, slowly defragmenting into entropy, but only if we allow it.

Concept, creative direction, modelling, and styling by Morta Mor, in collaboration with a renowned photographer Virginija Vaiciulyte. More here.

Morta Mor at LRT Opus Melomanas Klauso Radio Show (In Lithuanian)

Invited by Inga Ramoskaite, Morta joined LRT OPUS’s “Melomanas Klauso” to present a deeply intentional mix—100% composed of women, non-binary artists, and underrepresented voices in electronic music. More than just a selection of tracks, the mix serves as a statement, highlighting the importance of visibility, representation, and diversity on the dancefloor. Throughout the show, she shares not only the music but also the stories behind these artists, discussing why centering these voices in electronic music matters now more than ever.

TRANSFORMATION STATION at Garbicz Festival 2022

An interactive space blending fashion, sustainability, and radical self-expression, the project invited festival-goers to swap pre-loved festival pieces, customize their outfits, and explore creative styling without waste. More than just a clothing swap, it was a statement: fashion should be a tool for play, identity, and change rather than excess and disposability.

Rooted in community and LGBTQ+ allyship, the project encouraged individuality while promoting circular fashion—proving that bold style and sustainability can dance together.

While this was a one-time activation, the spirit of Transformation Station lives on as a testament to the power of collective creativity and conscious fashion, continued in other spaces by the House of Flamboyant collective.

Pretty Much Community & The Imaginarium Boutique Festival

Some communities find you exactly when you need them. Pretty Much Tribe is one of those—a collective of talented, beautifully unconventional creatives shaping Lithuania’s underground scene. At its heart is The Imaginarium, a best-kept-secret boutique festival that is meticulously crafted by people that adopted me upon my return to Lithuania during the pandemic.

It became my artistic home, offering not just a place to land but a space to create, experiment, and get a little weird. It’s where I played my first DJ gig, released my first record, and brought my love for visual storytelling to life through art installations and space-making. More than a collective, it’s a creative ecosystem—one that continues to shape, inspire, and remind me why art, music, and community are inseparable.

Bringing Worlds Together Through Experience Design

Beyond the decks, one of my key skill sets lies in curating and producing events that blend music, art, and immersive experiences.

Over the years, I’ve worked behind the scenes to bring unique concepts to international locations, collaborating with a multiplicity of electronic music artists, visual storytellers, and holistic experience creators.

From intimate gatherings to larger scale productions, my focus has always been on crafting environments that go beyond the ordinary—where sound, space, and sensory elements come together to create moments that can’t be captures in pictures.
